Aurora Logistics recently handled the customs clearance and delivery of these two brand-new Bayliner cruisers from the Port of Brisbane to the Freedom Boat Club in Manly, Queensland.

Peters & May, Aurora’s US agent, arranged the shipping cradles, fumigation and staged each boat on a 40′ flat rack in Savannah, before loading them onboard a container ship. From here the boats travelled under-deck for 27 days, through the Panama Canal, past the Pacific Islands and down to Brisbane. Upon arrival into the Sunshine State, both boats were released by Australian authorities without any biosecurity intervention.

The Freedom Boat Club, established in 1989 in Sarasota, Florida, USA, operates on a unique model dedicated to providing a hassle-free recreational boating experience for its members, aptly named “Boating Made Simple.”

With a growing community of over 88,000 boat owners worldwide, Freedom Boat Club has expanded its reach to include locations in the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Denmark, the USA, Canada, and now, Australia!

We extend our best wishes to Brett Bolton and his team as they embark on launching the latest Freedom Boat Club branch ‘Down Under.’
